Blocked by the ISP or dns servers issue ?

Hi,

I use NextDNS with DoH on Firefox desktop and Android smartphone.

Since the last 3 days on firefox desktop usage with/without NextDNS is only detected when using a VPN with the same DoH settings configurations on this 2 devices .

I haven't this issue on my smartphone.

I get the error "Error checking current status" when disabling the VPN.

    I created a ControlD account. I don't have this problem with ControlD on Windows desktop and Android smartphone. Why did NextDNS fail to bypass my ISP's restrictions on Windows desktop?

       NextDNS has been around longer and more well known. If ISP deliberately blocked NextDNS, it’s only a matter of time before ControlD gets blocked too.

    Hi,

    I created a second profile exclusively for Firefox, configured in DoH mode without connected device recognition.

    https://dns.nextdns.io/xxxxxx

    It seems to work, but it sends notifications alternating between:

    1. "Perfect! This device is using NextDNS with this configuration."

    2. "Error checking current status. Please contact us if this problem persists after refreshing the page."

    When I configure DoH for device recognition in my browser settings as follows: https://dns.nextdns.io/xxxxxx-Firefox

    I only get this error message "Error checking current status. Please contact us if this problem persists after refreshing the page."

    The DoT protocol still doesn't work.

    Problem solved.

    It was a Firefox extension that caused the problem.
