Ring App Won’t Connect on iOS

For the last week roughly I keep having to turn off NextDNS on my iPhone to access my Ring cameras though the Ring app.  Nothing is showing up in the logs as blocked so I can’t set anything to allow, is there a way to whitelist a whole app?

    iOS apps like Ring often use multiple background domains and sometimes encrypted DNS or hardcoded endpoints so they may not appear clearly in NextDNS logs. Because of this blocking can still happen even if nothing obvious is shown.

    Instead of whitelisting the whole app (which is not really possible at DNS level). you could try allowing common Ring-related domains or temporarily disable specific filters (like privacy or tracking lists) to see which one is causing the issue. That usually helps narrow it down.
