Trouble resetting NextDNS as my native DNS Resolver
I have successfully used NextDNS for months now. Today I realized it had stopped working properly. I use NextDNS with the Yoga front end.
While the app seems to be working properly now, I continue to get an alert that NextDNS is not my DNS Resolver. The alert says I am using Cloudflare.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled both NextDNS and Yoga DNS. I have implemented the NextDNS IP v4 and v6 addresses in my network adaptor settings. I have implemented the IP v4 addresses in my router settings and downloaded and approved the NextDNS security certificate, but I still get the Cloudflare DNS Resolver alert in my setup tab.
I am running Windows 10 Pro v21H2 on a Lenovo i7 CPU with 16MB of memory laptop.
Any ideas as to how I can re-direct NextDNS as my native DNS Resolver? I am not very technical, so responses in layman's terms are much appreciated.
