NextDNS UDM failed to activate

I have been trying to get my devices to start using NextDNS as the primary DNS for a little while now. I have installed NextDNS and when I check the status it says its running but I can't figure out what I am missing. When I run nextdns activate I get 

Error: setup resolv.conf: rename /etc/resolv.conf /etc/resolv.conf.nextdns-bak: device or resource busy
Error: non zero exit code: 1: OCI runtime error

    Hi sir wen i contacted nds automatic  is off after 20 seconds
