I don't think the app for windows is cool (but it's perfect on IOS, I use it on my children's ipad since on IOS 12 I can't install the profile)

That said, I made a .bat script( https://pastebin.pl/view/fe4c162f ) to manually set another dns for NEXT and for another when I need to access something fast and be impatient to look at the logs...

*The .bat need to run as administrator. It makes a cache flush too!

But sometimes I forget to set the next back, and I only notice when the advertisements start to return...Is there any app that runs in the tray and visually informs me, preferably by COLOR, which dns I'm using?

The alternative I found was not to use this .bat anymore, and open it in a private tab with Opera Browser's native VPN.

I think it would be simple to make an app that runs in the tray and periodically access test.nextdns.io and change color or show a small notification if the dns is different after a few minutes (programmable this time by the user in the app settings)
