Is it possible to set up split dns for clients with the app installed?

I have a number of internal resources my router provides dns for. I'd like to still identify my devices in NextDNS, but would also love to be able to get to my internal resources with proper certificates (as nextdns pulls my external IP for the hostnames, instead of the internal IP's). Let me know if this is possible!
