NextDNS Servers do not respect TTL

NextDNS servers do not try to update the RR with TTL set at 300. I keep getting the stale response despite waiting for an hour and trying to query NextDNS servers directly. I understand if the record is stale for a few more minutes after expiration, but an hour for a 5m record pushes it to the "broken" state.
