Problem with password reset for my.nextdns.io

I have a rather strange issue with my login and password for my.nextdns.io

I receive an 'invalid email/password combination' error during the login. I tried to reset the password for my account afterwards, which did not help as I did not receive a mail with a password reset link. 

First of all, I thought this is my well deserved punishment for not using my password manager and I am just mixing up email addresses. Nevertheless, I checked my mail inbox and I am indeed using the correct mail address on which I also received mails from noreply@nextdns.io in regards to my account. Furthermore, when I try to create a my.nextDNS.io account with that particular email address I am not allowed to do so because that mail address is already in use according to the error message.

Am I missing something? Got me account deactivated for whatever reason?
