Trying to introduce my TV into NextDNS

So I am trying to set manually DNS in my LG SmartTV under WebOS.

I disable IPv6 and set it, everything seems correct, and I can access everything. However I don't see any traffic in my statistics tab (I created a specific profile). So  my first though is that this is a bad guy and is ignoring my manual settings.

But... I just tryied a dns leak test from dnsleaktest.com using the built-in browser on the TV, just to figure out which DNS is using, and I am surprised it says 'dns.nextdns.io` / Misaka Network

I used one the linked IP DNS server, without linking my IP (I don't want to do that).

I don't want to set it up on my router

Any idea what is going on? Any hope to make it work?

Thank you!

If you didn’t link your IP for the TV config it’s not going to block any requests or any logging. It will be using the default unfiltered dns.

If you visit https://test.nextdns.io it will not show any profile ID for the connection (which is what you want to see if you are to get filtering).

You have to link your IP address if you are going to use the IPv4 dns addresses.
