Interruptions in Internet access

Hello teams!

Nextdns I really think it's a fantastic tool/service.

Unfortunately, for the past week I have been observing more and more frequent internet outages. This is already very irritating. The Internet disappears for 20 - 60 seconds and continues to work for an unspecified period of time, for example half an hour and then interruption again. It's very annoying. What can we check in the settings to improve internet accessibility?

    Have you confirmed that dns requests are the only failure and not any other internet traffic?

    Also, how are you connecting to NextDNS and the internet as a whole?

    Exactly. When I set dns from google or any other public, access internet it is always there. I have 5G and these problems with access to websites started about two weeks after I setting nextdns according to the instructions on my account. I don't believe in any coincidence. Maybe I have something set in the nextdns panel that causes this state of affairs?

     

    I connect through the nexdns application Windows PC and  I set in the router lan settings. They are automatically assigned to all nextdns devices.

      It could be possible that you have blocked a domain used for internet connectivity checking.

      I'm also adding another screenshot. When I have DNS set, I only have nexdns on the router
      DNS servers
      1) 45.90.28.123
      2) 45.90.30.123, without the Windows Nexdns application enabled, routings are selected
      vultr-fra [it's high times] (anycast2)

      When the application is turned on, I always immediately set the shortest response times of the nearest DNS servers. Just like in the screenshot earlier
      zepto-waw (ultralow1)
      anexia-waw (ultralow2)

      I would like to be able to permanently force these faster [zepto-waw or anexia-waw] servers without specially launched applications and plug-ins. If it is possible ?

      Can I forced zepto-waw or anexia-waw serwer without plugins and special settings in router? Thank You for help Team and @RPM

       If the only thing you can change in your router is the IPv4 dns addresses, then you can’t do anything about the slow connection to dns servers (Anycast). 
      It may however be possible for NextDNS to tweak the Anycast selection of servers.

      Providing a diag for them is your best option.
