NextDNS software running but still ISP's DNS servers listed everywhere.
Hi there,
I'm using the NextDNS software and when I go to https://my.nextdns.io/xxxx I get the message "All good! This device is using NextDNS with this profile". However, in Windows Network Settings/Wi-Fi adapter settings (IPv4), the Preferred and Alternate DNS servers sections appear empty. As a result, the DNS addresses of my internet service provider also appear in the "Properties" section of the Wi-Fi icon on the taskbar. In addition, my ISP’s DNS servers are also listed on dnsleaktest.com website.
What I want to ask is: Even if I use the NextDNS software, should I also manually enter the DNS addresses in the relevant section?

yes i had this problem, whenever i did nslookup from wsl or powershell you could see attlocal insteda of nextdns. the att router doesn't allow you to change the dns but i have a tplink deco mesh that does, when i changed it there then that was fixed, but now a lot of my webpage loads are slow and traceroute seems to timeout in their diagnostic at a lot of points. hoping to get some advice here.
