UK TV streaming ad-blocking
With NEXTDNS setup... if I go onto a UK TV channel and try to stream using MS Edge it comes up with Ad-blocker in place and won't play. I've tested to make sure it's not Edge or Bitdefender - the only solution being to use my ISPs DNS - where they work perfectly.
How can I tweek NEXTDNS to allow these channels to play? I've tried adding the domain to the allowed list eg www.channel4.com or www.channel5.com - but this doesn't solve the issue.

Hi Paul I use NextDNS with my router and stream via a Roku, so whilst not the same as your set up, the solution to your problem is likely similar.
I would firstly look at your adblock lists that you are using, and disable them one by one to determine if a specific list is blocking your streaming.
Once you have determined which list blocks the streaming, then simple enable that list again but analyse in the logs which ips and domains are being blocked and then add then to your domains "allow list"
It is trail and error and can take a while, but the end result of watching without ads is well worth it!

Thanks! In last month I’ve being doing exactly what you said and have a nice setup working now. As you say - trial and error!
Thank you for taking the time to reply - appreciate it greatly.
Think I will also try your suggestion of looking at logs - switched off the list that was causing issues - would be good to use it still without the issues!
