NextDNS Settings not responding

A client uses NextDNS client v3.0.11.0-gb40292b on student computers. It's worked flawlessly for months but now we're getting this dialog when logging on. You can end the task and re-launch NextDNS (and it works) but this comes back next reboot/logon.

Any ideas? And when is v3 coming out of beta?
