favicon.ico tracking

I was reading this here

Is there a way to block /.favicon.ico using NextDNS?  I am assuming no since NextDNS is at the DNS level, not at the file level.

Wanted to check.  I would love to block it for my whole network.

    Favicons are on the same domain as the website most of the time, so you can't block it selectively without blocking the whole website at the DNS level.
