How to remove linked IP?

Hi, accidentally clicked the link ip button and now can't remove it... did this while on 4G network so this will change, no point in having it.

Thanks!

It doesn’t matter if it is set when you are not using unencrypted IPv4.

Olivier Poitrey So quick question. If I'm not using unencrypted IPv4, my assigned IP lease renews, someone else gets it, then sets their DNS to the NextDNS servers, wouldn't they then be using my account? Or does the linked ip address expire after a period of time? I don't have DDNS or anything like that set up. Sounds like @terje_stromberg's approach might be the only secure solution, right? Thanks!

You can remove linked ip by deleting your settings in privacy or security somewhere. Then you sttart from scratch again. Setting the settings as a new user, but with the same account and user name.

While I hate to necro this thread, it was a top result in Google. If you want to change the linked IP and have access shell access to a server, you can just use wget or curl to reset it.

Necroposting Google top results as I was looking for a solution until I figured this out.

Log into your account. Go to Settings. Scroll towards the bottom. You'll see 'Duplicate "YourProfileNameHere" '.

Click duplicate and give it a new name. You'll get a new set of addresses and need to go to whatever device(s) and enter the new DNS info.

Now you can at the top of NextDNS sites drop-down, switch to the old profile and go back to Settings and Select Delete. It will auro-switch to the new clone you made and the old one with the linked IP is history.

Why did you make the same post in a bunch of threads?  That's completely unnecessary.
