NextDNS Service broken Windows 11

I noticed last night that my computer was running slower than normal. I found the NextDNS service on Windows using 25-50% CPU time.

I closed the program but this did nothing so I uninstalled and it sat on "uninstalling DNS service" for about 2 minutes then finished.

After this I noted the service was still running but I figured after a reboot it would be ok. I shutdown my PC and started it again today and the same bug is happening 25-50% CPU time.
The program is uninstall and in the services.msc area the service shows as disabled with a status of "stopping" but its running.

So to summarize a service that was "uninstalled" and "disabled" is neither and is currently using a ton of CPU, really not great.

Very strange you still have the service, here it has always been uninstalled along with the app, you can do a cleaning of the service and remove it permanently using the revo unistaller (startup services). NOTE: That's why I hate apps and prefer to use the native solution of windows 11.

Hardcode it into the OS network settings, use it with Adguard Home or use it on your router.
    Avoid using the app.
