NextDNS not playing nice with Nest cameras

I have tried turning off all filtering options, however, when my Nest cameras are connected to a router with NextDNS set as the upstream provider, the cameras are not able to be registered. If I change my DNS servers to Google or back to my ISP DNS servers, the cameras work fine.

For now, I had to set up a separate wireless SSID on a different router that is only feeding my Nest cameras.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I don't use Nest cameras. With that said, I suggest testing other NextDNS security options that could be interfering.

I don't suggest leaving this option off but perhaps it is what is preventing your nest cams from registering

    NextDNS/Security/DNS Rebinding Protection.

Anyways, it is good practice to have your cameras and the like connecting to your router on their own LAN. So you are good on that.
