What OS and VPN is this? For Android, unless it's version 9 (Pie), the Private DNS setting usually overrides VPN settings, confirmed with the standard OpenVPN & WireGuard, also with Windscribe's proprietary client. For iOS & macOS you'll need Passepartout. For Windows just set the DoH setting on browser level, that will override VPN setting, if you need system-wide, use the standard OpenVPN/WireGuard client and edit the DNS in the config.

Search for "Choose a service provider" in Edge settings and for OS-wide Linux use the NextDNS CLI client from GitHub.

For browsers, use the DoH address from your NextDNS dashboard, for the CLI client see the wiki for guides, you need to enter your profile ID, again, get it from your NextDNS dashboard

you wrote earlier, select a service provider and there, I understand, you need to insert a link, so what exactly to insert?

Go to your NextDNS dashboard, use the DNS-over-HTTPS endpoint
