All ENS websites return Cloudflare 1001 Error

Hello,

I'm experimenting with  ENS resolution and wanted to try NextDNS out to resolve ENS but found that every .eth website responds with a Cloudflare 1001 DNS resolution error.

To reproduce:

1) Enable Web3 feature for your DNS

2) Update systemd-resolved config to use NextDNS

3) $ curl vitalik.eth
error code: 1001

Is there other functioning .eth domain to test? I got the same pair of IPs resolved through eth.link, so I kinda doubt that domain even work in the first place.

      sure, here's a list

      luc.eth

      v1rtl.eth (that belongs to me)

      ens.eth (official ENS app)

      wealdtech.eth

None of them works with the eth.link DoH resolver either. It might be related to the upcoming transition of Cloudflare's public IPFS gateway.

https://wealdtech.eth.limo/ works though. ETH.link shouldn't be used as a source of truth because this gateway relies on Cloudflare infrastructure while ETH.limo is independent.

either way, current "Web 3" support for NextDNS is broken. I really advise to switch over to using eth.limo instead.
