Blocking in Russia

NextDNS doesn't work in Russia not because it has been blocked, but because it is hosted on Cloudflare's servers. The RKN and other censors are simply taking down and blocking Cloudflare, which is why many websites that use this provider aren't working. Will NextDNS take any steps to bypass the block and make its service available in Russia? Or is that too resource-intensive and impractical for NextDNS?

Based on other reports, they blocked our IPs and TLS names. There isn’t much we can do unfortunately.

Hi. Do you have any plans to provide an alternative DoH/DoT endpoint for users in Russia that does not use the blocked TLS hostnames? Or are you not planning to develop any workarounds for this situation?

since based on reports, they blocked our IPs as well, it wouldn’t be effective.

Ok. Do you have any plans to deploy alternative DNS servers on different IP ranges and networks for users in Russia? I understand that simply changing the TLS hostname would not help if the current server IP addresses are also blocked. Would deploying completely separate infrastructure be technically feasible, or have you decided not to pursue this?🤔

This is a cat-and-mouse game we’d rather not get into.
