Bypass Age Verification not working

Does anybody know why it isn't working with Reddit?

    The “Bypass Age Verification” setting mainly helps with websites that gate content based on IP/geolocation or lightweight verification checks. Reddit’s NSFW restriction is tied to account authentication and user settings, so DNS-level changes won’t bypass it. You still need to be logged into a Reddit account with NSFW/adult content enabled.

      Side note: the trick with old.reddit.com used to work last time I tried it
