YouTube not being blocked

I setup NextDNS for the first time this morning, intending to block YouTube on my network.  I have added it to Parental Control, linked my IP, and entered the 2 DNS servers in my router settings.  When I tested it this morning, everything seemed to be working and I was unable to access YouTube on my PC.

My son got home from school a few minutes ago and I heard YouTube coming from the basement. I went downstairs and sure enough, he was watching videos. When I check the logs, it actually shows www.youtube.com and accounts.youtube.com being blocked repeatedly, but somehow YouTube is still working anyway. What am I missing?

The FAQ topic is about blocking YouTube ads.  I am not trying to block ads.  I am trying to block YouTube on my network entirely.  Under Parental Control, there is an option to restrict access to YouTube.  That is what I am trying to do.

How was your son watching Youtube? If watching via an app there has been some speculation that it (the app) will fallback on Google DNS to resolve queries.
