win 10 ver 20H2 driver issue

I used NextDNS for a few months before Microsoft upgraded my computer to win 10 ver 20H2 ( the current  latest). After that, Internet access via ethernet became very problematic. Eventually I determined it was the NextDNS VPN and removing it fixed my problems. The next day, after uninstalling Next DNS, I installed it up again. Everything was lovely for 1 day. Then, My Internet crapped out. The  problem was DNS. Pinging 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 or nextdns or 9.9.9.9 might fail with timeout or get 1 or 2 of 4 pings.

Turning off NextDNS from the system tray doesn't help. Uninstalling NextDNS does  not help. Flushing the dns cache does not help. Removing the NextDNS  network driver entirely works fine. DNS is restored. This occurs even though Windows tells me  I'm not using that adapter.

- My android devices continue to work fine with NextDNS.

- A new install worked fine for a day, but twice, destroyed dns access the next day whether using it or not.

- It had worked for months before  the  Windows update.

Currently, I can't use NextDns on my Windows machine.

Olivier Poitrey  Does it work better with YogaDNS?

So far, (an  hour) it seems fine with YogaDNS, but The fabulous dashboard is not working for it. So, I seem to be getting your dns server, but none of my configuration on the Windows machine.  Android devices showing up fine.

Steven Shank in yoga you need to put your configuration id.

Olivier Poitrey - I am using my id. The DNS server in YogaDNS shows NextDNS Protocol: NextDNS and the Address or URL is my NextDNS 6 character ID. When Editing, the IP address is 45.90.28.0 - I've tried both normal and ultra low latency. Both check out ok, but my DNS server remains Quad 9. The Yogadns log seems to indicate next dns: for example [01.23 15:08:18] api.dropboxapi.com - process : server=NextDNS (NextDNS, xxxxxx), rule=Default - But your dashboard says I'm using Quad 9.

Steven Shank Just continuing, I finally went into adapter settings and set the dns addresses manually. Then it recognized I was connected to Nextdns instead of Quad9, and  it logged, but couldn't analyze anything.  Analyze said no queries made. I cleared the logs and now it seems to be working again.
