Help with Archive.Today
Hello Im new to this NextDNS technology I want to ask here if it can help me connect to the website Archive.Today which I cannot access since a few days ago presumably because of DNS problems with Cloudflare or maybe my own ISP
Some more info in this link:
https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=36578250
I have made a NextDNS account and connected with the NextDNSSetup-3.0.12 application, it seems to be active and working well but I still cannot connect to that precise website
I have also tried using several VPNs in combination with NextDNS but still no luck
More info about the website I cannot connect:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Archive.today
https://archive.ph
https://archive.is
https://archive.li
https://archive.vn
https://archive.fo
https://archive.md
I use Windows 10 with Chrome browser with the "Use secure DNS" option disabled in the Privacy and security settings menu
I have also tried with Chrome incognito mode but still nothing
Please help I would really appreciate any kind of feedback about this problem

The site itself is wonky, they might be trying to block scrapers since the VPNs and VPS I tried to connect to it fail, it's possible they mistakenly flag your ISP. DNS alone won't help.

Same problem here, other dns server present the site, nextdns does noet. Archive somhow fools servers like nextdns, cloudflare and others.

You can do rewrites in settings on my.nextdns.io for the domains: archive.today archive.is archive.ph etc with the answer: 178.250.246.75
It is working like this for now...

It is strange, on my phone using a private dns there is a problem, while using dns from the home router it works fine.

works with 23.137.248.133 to

Update
Instead of using the same IP for all domains I think it's better to set different ones. I see that they changed the IP and the chance is they would not change it for all domains at once.
archive.today → 23.184.48.154
archive.is → 165.140.202.54
archive.ph → 104.36.80.106
archive.fo → 185.195.236.97
archive.md → 45.8.124.7
archive.vn → 103.70.115.11
archive.li → 94.154.172.214

I discovered another approach.
For the ones using AdGuard:
Protection - DNS Protection - DNS filters - User rules - Add user rules and add the IP and domain like this:
172.66.157.237 example.org
172.66.147.243 example.com
This is normally for blocking but it is responding with the chosen IP. If it's 0.0.0.0 will block it and if it is something else will redirect.
You maybe need to have Settings - General - Advanced - Low Level settings - Blocking mode for hosts rules - Custom IP (i have something here, a local IP, which I won't share but you can choose some specific domain for v4 and v6 or 0.0.0.0 and ::)

Tools to check the host resolution:
https://reportedip.com/dnschecker/
https://www.captaindns.com/en/tools/dns/dns-lookup
https://dnsviz.net/ (clicking on the diagram or the domain will show details)
And this for NextDNS with/without your ID/Profile
