Beginner questions

I'm new to this and trying to figure out how everything works. I set up NextDNS on my router, and it appears to be working. However, when I go to analytics, it doesn't identify any of the devices and says "Learn how to identify your devices on the Setup page". The setup page is really unclear about how to do that. Do I need to install the NextDNS app on all my devices? I thought I could avoid that by putting the settings in my router.

    When installed on your router you need http://nextdns.io/cli to identify devices behind it.

      NextDNS How do I run that command on my router? It's a Technicolor c2100T combination modem/router purchased from my ISP (CenturyLink).
