What is going on with NextDNS?

I can see some activity from Olivier on client development, but Romain is totally ignoring Github part for months.

I have some contributing stuff, but I lost all the hope in you guys and stopped trying to.

I payed for the service, not because I would have more than 300k requests per month (I could break this down to a fewer clients), but because I liked the project and I wanted to support it.

Would Olivier Poitrey and/or Romain Cointepas be so kind and give us a fair respond?

I hope I am not asking too much from you.

Thank you

    Fully agree.

NextDNS is a awesome project, already well known but need more attention from development site, including response on user requests and issues.

Olivier Poitrey a easy news about would be nice for us users instead of long time silence.

Ultramarine Car believing a DNS infra with 90+ points of presence could keep running fine while being abandoned is a bit insane if you ask me :)

Olivier Poitrey I have to apologise as it was a very badly statement from my end

I think what many 'normal users' would like to see that apart from the technical side (i.e. Github commits), the mainstream changelogs could be more regularly updated when possible

A constructive feedback I can provide instead of being rude, is that the service could have new changes and even bugfixes show up in the my.nextdns.io portal, to allow users can be kept up to date when necessary.

This is to cover those who don't follow NextDNS' social media pages on Twitter/Reddit where recent updates have been posted.

I emphasise my apology again, and I would gladly pay for another year of NextDNS service again

      Olivier Poitrey thank you.

I would really appreciate, if you would inform us every few weeks with at some short notice/update.

Also, can you push the https://github.com/nextdns/metadata/tree/master/privacy/blocklists activity a little. :)

      Wish you best and cheers

would it be possible for you to share your ideas on future NextDNS product development?

Apparently not.  I’m amazed this “company” is still “operational.”

I think it’s pretty awesome as-is.   Sure, it could use some tweaks.  Once I settled on some of the built in blocklists and added a few entries to my allow list, it’s working great for me.

ive seen good projects started by a small team, go bad when they go big (LastPass anyone).  I hope Nextdns goes slow and deliberate with high quality updates.
