Blocking ads on youtube for Windows

I can’t seem to block youtube ads with my NextDNS Pro account, it works on any other device just not my computers.

Use a different browser with proper add on blockers.

NextDNS cannot reliably block YouTube ads at the network level due to how YouTube serves its content and advertisements. YouTube delivers ads from the same domains and servers used for video streaming, making it effectively impossible to distinguish between ads and legitimate video content using domain-based DNS filtering alone.

You will likely need one or more of the following:

a different browser which supports the features you need (eg: Brave)

specific browser extensions

dedicated mobile apps for mobile devices

VPN services with ad-blocking features or VPN Services that will route you through non-monetized country's

etc.
