Veon ultra smart 4k tv's

Heyo guys,

 

Just wondering, how do i block the stupid ads on yt on my tv?  I got the tv last week.  I cannot seem to change my DNS on the tv, but I have got it on my router.  

All the adblocking studd works on my phone (except for when using the app) and PC.  I cannot seem to find a decent browswer for my TV either that I could download to put watch YT like that.  

 

Any suggestions?

    Is the TV running Android or Android based?

        On the box it says it's a good tv.  On the tv itself, says it's running android 11.

       Ok, so is it possible to sideload apps onto the TV?

      You could then install alternative YouTube apps on to it, like NewPipe or SmartTubeNext

       Side apps?   Ik there is a store thing on my tv, but seems very limited.

      Sideloading an app is basically copying the "apk" onto the TV and installing it from the file.

       Oh that I will not be doing hehe.   I rather keep my TV free from malware as much as possble.
