the app uses too much jargon

Your instructions assume too much knowledge of the user.  I speak 7 foreign languages  and have about 14K hours coding experience writing python so I'm used to working my way through languages I don't fully understand.  That being said I have numerous responsibilities and do not have the time required to learn your arcane jargon just so that I can block a few websites.   You need to rewrite all your instructions so that non-coders can understand them.
