Broken .local LAN address resolution

When I enable NextDNS, then my .local LAN hostnames fail to resolve. For example, Ubuntu servers running the Avahi daemon.

 

I've disabled NextDNS on my devices.

    As a workaround, I manually add "local" to my personal allowlist.

    This entry should automatically apply to all users. It's a standard domain.
