NextDNS as upstream DNS from Pi-hole with multiple profiles

I'm trying to configure my Pi-hole to forward traffic to NextDNS via the CLI while still preserving per-VLAN profiles. NextDNS see the traffic and the Admin page says my device(s) is using NextDNS with no profile. Based on the Wiki, I get the impression that what I want to do is possible, but somehow I am unable to get the profiles working.  Any help in solving this would be appreciated

    I managed to fix the problem - Pi-hole was not forwarding the client IP addresses
