Accidentally linked IP address to two profiles

I have two profiles set up - a Default one for the router at home (with more stringents restrictions for kids and iot devices), and a seperate one for our various mobile devices. I've accidentally clicked "link IP" on both, so both profiles are now linked to home IP address. My question is - does this matter?

I can see there's no way to unlink an IP address, which seems a huge oversight (or lack of foresight) and I'm reluctant to duplicate/recreate the mobile devices profile as it will mean setting up the DNS servers on the various devices again (not an insurmountable problem, but woudl prefer to avoid if it's not necessary)

thanks!

It does not matter as long as you are mot using the DNS IPs of the other linked profile from this IP.

It's a way for NextDNS to decide what profile to put your traffic in. Nothing about limiting what can access it.

So this is only if you must use an ipv4 DNS server and can't use DoH or DoT etc.
