my status keeps going red dot to green dot every few seconds

why is this? Also I need some assistance setting up port forwarding 

 

Log in to your Ubiquiti (UniFi) device
2.    Click Network/Advanced
3.    Copy the number listed in the Port/HTTP field

 

there are currently no ports being forward in my router. How do ai set them up and what is step 3?

    Where did you get those instructions from? DNS does not require any kind of port forwarding to function.
