NextDNS, NordVPN and Passepartout (iOS)

Hi all,

I'm a NordVPN customer and reletively new to NextDNS.

On my iPhone running the latest version of iOS (26.6) I use my NordVPN connections (using NordLynx/Wireguard protocol) via the app Passepartout.   The connections are rock solid most of the time.

I've recently started to tinker with NextDNS (DNS over HTTPS) with my Nord VPN Connections on iOS.  It seems to be working (blocking various sites etc when VPN'ed to say, Albania via Nord) but I'm not 100% sure if I've set it up correctly.  I'm wondering if someone who has better knowledge can clarify a few things:

If I use DNS over HTTPS should the DNS server IPs point to 45.90.28.0 and 45.90.28.0?

When tunnelling via Nord, poing to NextDNS via DNS over HTTPS DNS leaks appear to return no negative results (nothing leaking) but I noticed that if I'm on captive wifi at a restaurant or public wifi, it sometimes leaks my IP or a random DNS server pops up in the leak test.

Regards
