Adding links to block list dont works in this case.

I am trying to block my phone from getting new ota updates, as I know that new update have many bugs. 

So i blocked these in nextdns black list.

 

*.adx-in.ads.oppomobile.com

*.ifota.coloros.com

*.cost.realmemobile.com

*.otafsg-cost.realmemobile.com

I got these links by enabling logs in nextdns setting . 

But my phone still able to get updates dont know from where it resolves ota server addresses.

My phone dont have option to disable updates.  I always keep going to settings:Updates to stop update from downloading everytime when i connect to wifi.

    Hello :)

    You're just blocking the sub domain. Kindly block full domain.

    Example
    coloros.com
    httpdns.ocloud.oppomobile.com
    heytapmobi.com
    heytapmobile.com
    heytapimg.com

    This way you can block all sub domains inside main domain & the link I have mentioned is for Oppo, Realme & Vivo phone that has ColorOS because heytapmobile & mobi also connected with Oppo & coloros.

      With NextDNS, when you block or allow a domain, it always means the domain and all its subdomains.
