How to test NextDNS's domain blocking feature?

I have setup my NextDNS profile and included the Block Page setting.   But I want to test to see if the blocked page notification actually works.

How can I do this?

    You could temporarily add a well known domain into the denylist and try accessing it from a configured device. 
    After success just remember to remove the domain from the denylist.

      R P M sorry, I wasn't very clear in my post. What I meant was is it possible to test the malware and fishing blocking features with NextDNS's Block Page? Like, they claim they can block malicious sites AND give me a fancy web page from NextDNS telling me they're the ones blocking it, via the settings, but HOW do I test that? 

      It seems that NextDNS is lacking in testing tools, or maybe I just don't know what they are. How can I trust NextDNS to shield me from phishing sites and the like?

      Christopher P To test NextDNS you need a list of phishing and malware websites. In this video you can see how such testing can look like:

      Please keep in mind that there is no service which is always able to block 100% phishing sites and the like. To feel safe you need to learn how to avoid and recognize phishing websites and think about NextDNS as an additional insurance just in case you make a mistake. You can also ensure that your NextDNS setup is optimal for you; enable security features available on your device and/or use good antivirus software; use a browser extension, which blocks malicious websites.

      Christopher P Do not do this on your main machine. Use a VM or separate computer in an isolated network when you're testing for vulnerabilities because if you or your provider messes up even slightly you will get infected
