iOS App No Longer in App Store?

I saw this today and maybe it is specific to iOS 15 loaded devices, but the iOS app is simple not there when you search for NextDNS or even use the link from the NextDNS configuration page.  I did not see anyone report this yet and not sure how long it's been missing and again if it is just an iOS 15 thing with the other iOS 15 reports I've seen using the app.

  • Apple has decided to remove our app from the App Store.

We are currently appealing this decision and making our case that our companion app fulfills all the conditions of the recently added 3.1.3(f) exception.

While we have many frequent interactions with many great people at Apple, the App Store Review team is its own isolated team and we are trying our best.

    Stay put.

  • Might be something to do with Apple, and their store policy maybe changes etc it will most likely get back on but dang Apple does what Apple does.

  • I’m very new to NextDNS and thinking about paying for the service after a month. Will that be a good decision? The company doesn’t seem to communicate with customers about what it’s doing, including canceling the app and deleting the blog, and it looks a bit like they aren’t present on these forums very much?

A User I think it's definitely a good purchase. I'm pretty sure the app is not canceled. They wouldn't randomly take it down. The blog I have no idea and on the forums, they could be more active but they seem to have a small team of people behind it so it could be harder for them to respond to everyone without raising the prices / hiring people for it. I never really had any issues that were caused by NextDNS and once I had an issue with my carrier and people were there to quickly explain why it was happening. So I don't think there will be a huge need for the forums anyways. On the side of the actual product NextDNS, I have been using it for over a year now and haven't been happier. I used to manually install Adguard on my and parents family's phones and it was a pain, always checking things fixing things. Ever since I have been using it never had a single issue really. Yeah some things could be better but I had to stop using it for a day or two because of a carrier issue and seeing the Web without it it's interesting to say the least, seeing ads and popups again lol sometimes I wonder what others do without it and if they are even humans to an extent lol the annoyances all around it's shocking. And if you have a serious issue that is a Network wide or a big impact problem they usually get involved quickly and most likely they are already working on getting the app back. Anyways, personally I'd say go for it, in a few months you'll be taking yourself for using it, the web with the right filters is just amazing.

A User To simplify my answer, yeah I'd say go for it, I have been using it for more than a year now and haven't been happier. The way it's easy to manage, especially on my parents devices and all the options are absolutely amazing.
