DNS Rewrite not working

I am trying to redirect reddit.com to libredd.it using DNS rewrite.

Now, whenever I open reddit.com, I get an error saying Safari cannot open the page because secure connection cannot be established.

    You're using CNAME redirection on NextDNS (or just plain A record if you enable CNAME flattening). This means the browser will try to verify that the certificate passed from libredd.it is valid for reddit.com, which obviously isn't.

      alchemist Nope, HTTPS is specifically designed to prevent that.
