Deploy using Mobile Device Management (Kandji)?

Has anyone attempted to deploy NextDNS to a fleet of devices using an MDM? I'm struggling to figure out a good way to deploy while ensuring the device name is configured.

I tried deploying the mobile payload, but the network extension conflicts with the Malwarebytes EDR network extension, and the device name doesn't show up in the log. 

Next, I tried approaching it using CLI installer, but that's Homebrew, and the MDM agent runs as root, so that doesn't work. 

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    I am having the exact same issue. This would be a dealbreaker. If we are unable to deploy via MDM Profiles (addigy in our case) without device name reporting then we cannot use NextDNS.
