DNS Rebinding Protection and private IPs

Hi folks,

I want to enable the DNS Rebinding Protection feature but I have a DNS record which points to a private IP address. Think of the following scenario:

myhost.mydomain.com -> public IP
myhost-local.mydomain.com -> private IP

I suspect enabling the feature will prevent the “myhost-local” DNS record from being resolved.

How can I add an exception? Can a NextDNS rewrite rule solve this?

    Add the domain the the allowlist.

    I have tried to do this by putting my domain in yet I still have issues with rebinding.  the only way I am able to use my load balancer setup is to disable rebind protections.
