Erasing auto-filled passwords

Would you PLEASE change your login screen to NOT erase auto-filled passwords? It’s pretty obvious you’re checking for an onChange() or onKeyDown(), and when it doesn’t find it, it sets the value of the email and password fields to empty string. For auto-filled passwords, it erases them. This is SUPER ANNOYING and requires that we click in each field, add a space, and take the space away after each credential. This functionality does nothing for security.

On which OS and with which browser / password manager are you experiencing this issue?

For me it seems to work fine on macOS, with Safari and 1Password.
