VPN with Next DNS

Is there a way to have NextDNS enabled alongside a VPN like Surfshark?

Most VPN apps have a feature to define your own DNS service Provider, have you tried finding that settings?

Once you find the settings under your VPN app, use the links & instructions under your NextDNS Dashboard page.

Generally paid VPN offers customizing the DNS server. If your VPN allows to customize the DNS then simply go to that settings and point your nextdns address there. If that feature is not available then you can simply enable 'Block Bypass Methods' inside parental control tab. It will prevent the VPN that help to bypass NextDNS filtering. It will mostly work on most of the popular VPN, but may not work on all VPN which is less popular.
