I've completely set nextdns to my router but still says This device is not using NextDNS.
I've completely set nextdns in my router but the nextdns website says :
This device is not using NextDNS.
This device is currently using ”Google DNS” as DNS resolver
What's the problem? I've already tried restarting the router. My router is netis.

Setting up NextDNS at the router level does not guarantee blanket protection for all connected devices.
If a device is configured to use its own DNS settings, it can override the router-level NextDNS configuration. As a result, those devices will bypass the filtering and protection offered by NextDNS.
To ensure full coverage, you may need to manually configure NextDNS on each individual device where necessary.

The best way to set up NextDNS on your home network successfully is to set up its own profile with all the security settings that you chose to use and make sure once you have the NextDNS DNS Servers for that profile setup on your router and saved you go back to your NextDNS profile and click on "Linked IP" so it can obtain the IP address for your home network. I've had success that way, and everything going through my Wi-Fi router is going through my NextDNS profile that I created for that router. Good luck!
