Signed profile receive filter updates?

My understanding is that a signed profile for iOS cannot be modified or edited. 
 

so my question is, “if using a signed profile for iOS and the filter take for example next dns filter receives a filter update.” 
 

my question is “would that filter update automatically be on that signed profile that has been installed or would I need to create a new one to have those updated filter updates” ?

    All the filters and settings are in the cloud on NextDNS servers, not on your device.

    Your device make a connection to NextDNS to ask for DNS translation and, if set, send the configuration ID and device name.
