300.000 lookups in a month for two people?

I just managed to exceed 300K lookups.

It is just my girlfriend and I in the apartment.

My question is if this is a reasonable amount for two people,
or if I should look for an over eager device somewhere in my network?

Just to be clear, I dont mind subscribing.
I am amazed it is free to start with.
I am just worried if I should be looking for something wrong in the network

Depends on how many devices (in your apartment) are using your config; the general idea is the more the amount of devices, the more the amount of queries (aka lookups)

My wife and I exceed 1.2 million per month.    30-35% get blocked by filters or settings.

3 cell phones, 1 TV, 5 cameras, 2 tablets, 3 computers, 1 Roku, maybe a few additional devices.

Subscribing was a no-brainer after just a couple days' evaluation.

My experience, also. An example of how much spurious traffic is being generated in the background. Check the logs. Subscribe. It's worth the peace of mind and ease of administration.
