Images Failing to Load on a SPECIFIC site
Excuse me Please:
{also, i do not know if this qualifies as a "bug" so starting as "discussion" please move as needed}
starting on yesterday (12may23) and still in effect, the website imgur.com is now failing to load images.
text from the site does load.
in reading, others there-in have also had this same problem,
and when they stated they disabled their VPN(unidentified) they were
able to view the site's images.
I have cleared browser cache, have switched to different VPN
servers(different IP, and egress State), rebooted router, and none has helped.
NextDNS is hard-coded into Router, as well as this OS' tcpip stack (Kubuntu 22.04)
(also, i refuse to "disable" my vpn connection for ONE site.)
I am curious as to what other tests i may conduct to verify my
suspicion that the site imgur.com was whom changed "something."
No other site is affected that i commonly browse to.

here are some additional details, which may/or may not, be the landing server, or NextDNS as source; when directly viewing a user-uploaded .jpeg image, the following is displayed by the browser:

I switched between three(3) different egress providers, as listed below, with no resolution.

is imgur complaining about "too many requests" from NextDNS?
again, what additional tests can I conduct to verify the actual source of the problem?

I've just tested this and works fine for me at the moment, maybe you're using aggressive filters? You can switch to HaGeZi Pro or OISD to see if that works for you.

Nothing to do with NextDNS.
imgur.io check your IP and because of the VPN it refuses to load. Try more VPN locations, I found one which works. On VPN the same IP is used by more people, that's why you get «too many requests». It will be the same with other DNS as long as you use VPN.
