NextDNS connects to another country
Hello everyone! NextDNS is connecting me to a different country. What can I do to make it connect to ‘zepto-mow’? I know about pinning a specific server, but that doesn’t work for me as I sometimes use NextDNS alongside a VPN. I’m also aware that you can select an anycast server, but it turns out that anycast and ultralow can change: yesterday ‘zepto-mow’ was anycast 1, today it’s ‘zepto-mow’ anycast 2, or it isn’t anycast or ultralow at all. My ultralow setting doesn’t change at all (https://ultralow.dns(1,2).nextdns.io/id doesn’t help). What’s more, all these tweaks can only be done on DoH; they don’t work on DoT (even without the dns(1,2).nextdns.io profile, nothing changes).
At the moment, it’s connecting me sometimes to “zepto-sto”, sometimes to “anexia-sto”; anycast is set to false and the destIP isn’t 45.90.28.0, but something else.
I’ve attached the diagnostic results from my old Windows tablet. I don’t know why the ping is so high (Wi-Fi module, weak processor, Wi-Fi drivers). On my smartphone, connected to the same network, the ping is normal (as shown in the photo). Incidentally, the server that NextDNS connects me to isn’t even listed on ping.nextdns.io.
