How to Filter Specific Devices

Hello, Good Day,

Is there a setup or configuration to filter specific devices, such as desktops, laptops, and mobile devices? For example, in my home, we have four laptops. Two of them are used by my wife and the other two by my kids. My question is, in NextDNS, when I filter YouTube or Facebook, my wife and I are also filtered. Is there an option to filter specific devices?

    You can just create multiple profiles in the same account, and assign them on the device level. On laptops and desktops, since you likely only care about not being blocked in browsers, just set the DoH address to your browser's secure DNS, it will override OS and network settings. Safari is probably the only mainstream browser that doesn't support it, but macOS can load the DNS Profile generated by NextDNS. On mobile devices, use Private DNS on Android and the Profile generator tool on iOS, it will also override network settings.

    Of course, this also means it's trivial for your kids to also override network settings if they want to.
