Does DNS cause of Game lags?

After i use nextdns my games feels lagging. Kindly help to check and advise. Thanks!

    It would only have an effect at the point of initial connection, because of dns lookup. Issues after connecting would be other factors involved. 

    Unless you can think why your particular game is constantly looking up DNS addresses? (sorry, wording is a bit messy. Hopefully understood)
