I regret subscribing to NEXTDNS

I uses Nextdns on 3 devices, my home PC, work laptop & iPhone but no more than couple of days passes without Nextdns giving me a lot of troubles making me really regretting the day I subscribed to it, especially on PC & laptop running Windows 10 as every few days I find that CPU usage jump to 100% with CPU run at 90:100 of its speed & I can actually hear my devices fans run like crazy even without me doing anything on my devices & when I check Task manager I find the Nextdnsservice.exe is the one that causes this problem and I no other option other than restarting the device because even if I killed this process, I won't be able to use Nextdns again till I restart the device as its app status will keep saying disabled unless I do restart and I can't find any way to fix this problem permanently and I've been waiting for quite sometime now for its developers to address this issue but they don't and there is no direct official way to contact with this company technical support even to send them app logs when this problem occur other than just posting in this community and even so they did nothing till now not even they released a newer version to nextdns app for Windows for months now and by searching on the internet I already found many users complain about same problem for months now but unfortunately no one know what causes it or how to permanently fix it and again no solution from Nextdns company and the other problem is that Nextdns on both iphone & Windows devices insisting on many occasions on connecting to servers with high Ping (+200ms) even though there are already many ultralow servers with Ping of 14ms and lower and all of that made me feel that this company does not care enough about quality & performance of the service it provide & till now I have no other option other than disabling nextdns on all devices  & definitely I won't to renew my subscription which honestly if I could I would ask for a refund , I don't even dare recommend this service to anyone I care about even though I had high hopes for it at the beginning.

    What about adguard?

My only problem with Adguard was on iphone as it was very slow when I try to update its blocking filters’ rules but other than that it was way more stable & faster than Nextdns beside Adguard not only it was able to filter DNS requests but unlike NEXTDNS it can also works as adblocker and remove all ads leftovers and they don’t enforce you to only use their dns servers as they already support others as from cloudflare, opendns, google.. etc and after trying both Nextdns & Adguard, I would definitely return to Adguard for the time being or use Pi-hole together with Ublock origin.
